This past February we took it to social media and asked our followers to show us some DuPage love with our #iheartDupage campaign. Which were their favorite date night spots? El Tapeo‘s atmosphere, almond bacon wrapped dates, and signature cocktails scored high among the chic and sophisticated. Bottle & Bottega‘s painting and wine activity ranked high among lovers as well as friends looking for a fun group outing.
Were there wedding venues that were highly recommended? A resounding YES for the quirky pair who’d like a bit of the unusual – Pinstripes serves up a bit of gaming paired with a well respected menu of small bites as well as beautifully done dishes.
However, Eddie Merlot’s of Warrenville takes the win this time around for the most heartwarming love story.
MEET THE DEPPELER’S
While Eddie Merlot’s is known for its signature steak as well as fresh caught seafood, you might not know that’s it’s a highly sought after wedding venue.
We’re so warmed and delighted to share Michael & Yvonne’s love story that started at Eddie Merlot’s.
The pair were also invited to participate in our PBS “Check, Please!” Commercial that aired this past January.
They are such a lovely couple. Take a few minutes to hear about how their love came about from a Sunday Supper at Eddie Merlot’s.
What did you think? Weren’t they endearing? I don’t know about you, but I love a good love story.
We also visited Lynfred Winery for those of you who might want to escape for the weekend, perhaps with your girlfriends for an all-out indulgent and much needed Goddess retreat.
The suites have such charm and style. Each of them (American, French, German, and Italian) offer a uniquely themed decor, befitting of the country they represent. Fall in love with the luxe baths, the nuances in details, and say yes to a decadent and delightful stay.
Check out our video below for a tour of DuPage’s very own Lynfred Winery.
Wishes you Love Always, In All ways.
