Competitive Cycling Returns to Lombard!

The DuPage Sports Commission is bringing competitive cycling back with the Lombard Cycling Classic. As part of the Intelligentsia Cup Series, the Lombard Cycling Classic is a one-day, all-day, event expected to welcome upwards of 1,000 amateur and professional cyclists, and their guests, from around the world to Lombard on July 25, 2023.

THE COURSE

Located in the downtown area, the course offers an exciting criterium featuring both a narrow and technical back side along Michael McGuire Drive, a wide-open sprint finish stretch on St. Charles Road, and a start/finish line near the local favorite Babcock's Grove House.

FAMILY FUN RIDE - 6:15 PM

The Lombard Cycling Classic is a family affair! Bring the kids out to see the fastest bicyclists in the country. Better yet, start a new family tradition by participating in the Kids & Family Community Ride. Meet at the Kids & Family tent no later than 5:15 PM to check in before the 6:15 PM start. All riders must bring their own bicycle and wear a helmet during the family event.

PLEASE NOTE: Each rider needs to have a completed registration form. After completion of the first registrant, the system will allow you to add additional registrants. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a QR code that must be presented upon check-in at the event.

100% of proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
Winner will be selected the day after the event on July 26, 2023 and will be notified via email. Winner must be able to pick up the bike from DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau office in Oak Brook.
