The Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade returns on Sunday, August 30 at 3pm. This year's parade theme is "America@250: Let Freedom Ring!" Members of the Addison Historical Commission and Addison Historical Society will serve as Honorary Parade Grand Marshals in observance of the Addison Historical Museum's 50th anniversary this year.. Come early and set up your chairs along West Army Trail Boulevard from Lombard Road to Kennedy Drive. Among the community units will be the Jesse White Tumblers, the New Generation Drill Team, the Model A Restorers Club and many other community groups and organizations. Following the community portion of the parade, the Medinah Shriner units including magic carpets and mini cars will delight old and young!
