Blacksmithing 102 builds upon the following skills introduced in Naper Settlement's Blacksmithing 101 class, focusing on improving hammer control, precision, and design understanding. Students will learn more advanced forging techniques including hammer control, shaping and texturing, bending, and twisting. The class emphasizes both functional and artistic projects that develop a deeper sense of craftsmanship and forge discipline. Pre-registration is required, Limited to 6 participants per class. Must be 18 or older to participate. Students must take Blacksmithing 101 to register.
The Blacksmithing 102 dates are May 31, June 26, or August 30.
