In partnership with SCARCE, the Bensenville Public Works Department will host a pumpkin smash recycling event on Saturday, November 4th from 9 AM-Noon. This one-day event is a great opportunity to properly dispose of your Halloween pumpkins while having a little family fun. During the event, you will have the option to either chuck or smash your pumpkin into a dumpster. Smash events like this help keep pumpkins out of landfills and reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gasses being released into the environment.
