Originally conceived in the late 1970s by local cycling legend John Vande Velde, the race was resurrected in 2016 and has multiple unique course features, including a round-about, multiple power climbs and a tight final turn.
It's the first stop of the DuPage Triple Crown! Next up is Winfield, and the cup will finally end in Lombard.
