Originally conceived in the late 1970s by local cycling legend John Vande Velde, the race was resurrected in 2016 and has multiple unique course features, including a round-about, multiple power climbs and a tight final turn.
As part of the Chicago Grit series, it's the first stop of the DuPage Triple Crown! Next up is Winfield, and the cup will finally end in Lombard."
