SUBMIT AN EVENT
DISCOVER DUPAGE EVENT CALENDAR GUIDELINES:
- Must be an official member of DuPage County Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Events must be open to the public (no members-only events)
- Events must have a universal appeal to DuPage County locals and visitors
- Events series that are ongoing (three weeks or longer) should be listed as one event marked as ongoing with start and end dates
Events that are unlikely to be approved include (but not limited to):
- Fundraisers (galas, walks & runs, golf tournaments, etc.)
- Religiously-focused ceremonies or functions
- Political events
- Business and/or networking events (including trade shows)
- Some seminars, lectures and workshops
- Book club meetings or book signings
- Business grand openings
- Deals, discounts coupons or ongoing promotions for businesses
How to make sure your event stands out:
- Include a detailed description of the event and any important details
- Provide 2-3 high resolution images from the event
- Images should be in a 3x2 aspect ratio and over 800px wide, when possible, to prevent pixilation or zooming
- If the image is not at this ratio or a similar one, it will be cropped automatically and visitors may miss out on your full image
- Flyers, graphics and logos are not ideal
- Select the most appropriate event categories (you can select more than one)
Please consider:
Once your event is submitted, it will be reviewed to ensure that it meets the above guidelines prior to being posted on the website. DCVB staff reviews submissions and reserves the right to approve or deny events at its own discretion. If your event is not approved, you can resubmit per above guidelines.
Additionally, by submitting imagery, you acknowledge that you are authorizing DuPage CVB to use the photography for the purposes of promoting DuPage County as a visitor and convention destination in any of DuPage CVB promotional or marketing efforts.
