Located in the downtown area, the course offers an exciting criterium featuring both a narrow and technical back side along Michael McGuire Drive, as well as a wide-open sprint finish stretch on St Charles Rd, and a start/finish line near the local favorite Babcock's Grove House.
LOCAL EVENT - KIDS & FAMILY COMMUNITY BIKE RACE - 6:15 PM
The Lombard Cycling Classic is a family affair! Bring the kids out to see the fastest bicyclists in the country. Better yet, start a new family tradition by participating in the Kids & Family Community Race. Meet at the Racer Registration tent no later than 6 PM to check in and sign waivers before the 6:15 PM start. All riders must wear a helmet during the family race.
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist as course marshals to ensure the safety of spectators and direct pedestrian crossing points.

All volunteers receive:
- Official Volunteer Race T-Shirt
- Free Coupon for a sandwich at Shannon's Deli (at race)

Additional Volunteer Details:
Dress comfortably with khaki or black pants or shorts, and for appropriate weather forecast. Volunteers will be asked to stand for prolonged periods of time, as needed. Volunteers must be 18+ years old. All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver day of event.
