Admission, Parking & Transportation 

General admission to the Fall Festival is free on weekdays (Tuesday - Thursday) and $10 per person with ages 12 and under free on weekends (Friday - Sunday). Each paid guests will receive a free ride ticket ($6 value) for use toward any of the following attractions including the jumping pillow, amusements, daytime hayride and Kidde Korral. Free ride tickets are not valid on haunted attractions, and can be used at any time during the 2026 Fall Festival. Sonny Acres Farm offers free parking with a shuttle service bussing guests to and from the festival to the parking lot.

What To Expect 

Throughout September and October, enjoy a beloved Chicagoland event filled with fun fall activities, seasonal treats, and live entertainment. Take a classic hayride, visit the self-feed zoo, browse a wide selection of pumpkins, and enjoy amusement rides and attractions for all ages.  

While you're at the farm, explore the Farm Fresh Store and Sweet Shoppe for fall favorites including fresh seasonal produce like corn, seasonal treats like apple cider donuts, and homemade goodies like sauces, dips, and dressings.  

Plus, enjoy live music throughout the season and a Halloween Costume Party to end the season on October 30.

Sonny Acres After Dark 

As the sun sets, Sonny Acres Fall Festival transforms into an interactive world of spine-chilling sights, sounds and scares. Starting October 2, the Haunted Hayride and Barn experiences run every weekend in October (2-4, 9-11, 16-18, 22-25, 29-30). With dozens of live actors waiting around every corner, these immersive attractions deliver an unforgettable night of Halloween scares. 

Ticket information: Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended as availability is limited and demand is high. Choose between the Haunted Hayride and the Haunted Barn or purchase a combo ticket to experience both. Haunted Barn Fast Passes are also available for guests who want to skip the regular lines.

Insider Tips for Sonny Acres Fall Festival

A little planning can help you make the most of your visit to Sonny Acres' Fall Festival. Here are a few things to know before you go:

1. Visiting Tuesday through Thursday? General admission during the week is free to the Fall Festival. Guests may purchase a special weekday wristband for unlimited amusement rides from 10 AM to 6 PM. 
2. Haunted attractions start at 7:00 PM on scheduled dates. Arrive early to allow time for parking, festival activities, and shorter wait times before the scares begin. 
3. Leave pets at home. Pets are not permitted at Sonny Acres Farm, with the exception of service animals.
