The 26-mile West Branch DuPage River Trail is a defining characteristic in western DuPage, with a recently-completed segment traversing through downtown Winfield for all to enjoy. Trail enthusiasts can travel all the way south to Naperville, with uninterrupted views of the riverfront along the way. Key in the trail expansion was the Winfield Riverwalk, soon to become an even bigger draw with the newly completed bandshell. Winfield welcomes you to visit and join in their annual festivities! Winfield Good Old Days has been taking place for more than 50 years, offering historic trolley tours, kids zone, parade, car show, friendly tournaments, and entertainment. The Winfield Criterium and Summerfest, spawned by the local bike shop, Prairie Path Cycles, welcomes more than 500 riders each year for challenging cycling and family fun. The Winfield Criterium recently joined the DuPage Triple Crown – a DuPage-specific challenge within the popular Intelligentsia Cup cycling series.
