In the timeless words of Shakespeare, "What's in a name?" Naming a business is both an art and a science, blending creativity with strategic thinking. One must carefully think of something that's catchy and will stick for years to come. Oftentimes, it comes from a family name, a memory, or something unique to the establishment. When the name is well-chosen, it creates an instant connection.
Happy by Chocolate is a mother-daughter owned business. It started when Pam Vieau would take cooking classes in her free time. One day, she took a chocolate making class and realized she had an instant connection with it. She went home, pulled out her homemade toffee recipe, and applied her new skills. She gave that English toffee to her friends, and before she knew it, the phone was ringing constantly; everyone wanted Pam's toffee!
It was then that Pam realized she wanted to start her own business. Her daughter, Marcy, joined her, as she wanted to tell the world about her mother and the amazing chocolate she made. Their entire family works in the central kitchen of Chocolate Inspirations, including Charlotte, Pam's 96-year-old mother. The family creates handmade, artisan, traditional chocolates and confections. This amazing team has received awards and rave reviews from USA Today, Food Network, Alicia Silverstone, VegNews, People, and of course their customers. Today, you can buy from their website online or you can even find some of their chocolate in stores near you.
To Marcy and Pam, chocolate is not a special occasion; you can have it at any time, and that's what makes people happy. Thus, their name, Happy by Chocolate, was born. At Happy by Chocolate, the chocolate is rich--and so is family.
